Mat Officials Steering Committee
Roles and Responsibilities
- Pre-season planning meeting (Friday evening in January).
- Establishment of an Association Mat Officials Director
clinic/meeting (recommend the Saturday after the pre-season
planning meeting).
- Develop State Championships Mat Official assignments.
- Assist the Cal-USAW secretary with Mat Officials registration
with USWOA.
- Schedule pre-tournament mat officials clinic.
- Provide Mat Officials clinics - as requested by State
Associations.
- Mini-Grant review / approval (working with the Pairing Director)
- Submit list of recommendations for upgrades to category M2 and
M1C to the USWOA.
