Friday, June 6th 5:00 p.m.to 8:00p.m

(Men wrestling both styles must wrestle two Greco matches in order for the Greco weigh-in to count for Freestyle.)

Registration/Weigh-ins:

Sunday, June 8th 7:00 a.m. on site

The contestants will be weighed with their singlet on without shoes after having been examined by qualified Medical trainers who are obliged to eliminate any wrestler who presents any danger of contagious disease. No weight tolerance for the singlet. Athletes shall have two attempts to make weight: the initial attempt when called to the scale, and an immediate challenge of another scale located in close proximity to the initial weigh-in scale(s). Athletes may not leave the weigh-in area or initiate any activity for means of weight reduction. Wrestlers who fail to make weight will be allowed to move up to the next weight class.

Eligibility:

All athletes who meet the age requirements and who are a current member in good standing of USA Wrestling. Must have Current USA Card, available at tournaments for $30.00.

Proof of Age:

Must Show proof of age (Example: Birth Certificate, Driver’s Lic/ School Doc./Passport or other government document)

Saturday and Sunday June 7th & 8th - 8:00 a.m

Awards:

Trophy for 1st; Medals for 2nd, 3rd & 4th (Kids & Cadets)

Trophy for 1st; Medals for 2nd & 3rd (Junior FILA)

Special note: Headgear required at all State Events.

National Team Information

The top three Cadet winners per weight class (boys) qualify for the Nationals.

You will receive information & financial details about the Camp and National Trip at the tournament.

The venue is between Almaden Boulevard and Market Street. The South Hall is right behind San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Parking garage entrances are located on Almaden Boulevard and Market Street. There are more than 21,000 parking spaces in downtown San Jose; parking locations are subject to change due to downtown development. 280 Southbound (from San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Palo Alto)

Take 280 South to the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit. Turn left on Almaden Boulevard. Turn right on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

680 Southbound (from Sacramento, Walnut Creek, Livermore, Milpitas)

Take 680 South until it becomes 280 North at the 101 interchange, Take the Bird Avenue exit, turn right. Turn right on San Carlos Street Convention Centerfront entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

101 Southbound (from San Francisco, Burlingame, Palo Alto)

Take 101 South to the Guadalupe Parkway 87 exit. Continue on Guadalupe Parkway (Hwy 87). Take Park Avenue/San Carlos Street exit, turn left. Turn right on Almaden Boulevard. Turn left on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

101 Northbound (from Gilroy, Los Angeles)

Take 101 North towards San Francisco. Take the 85 North exit. Take Guadalupe Parkway (Hwy 87) North exit towards downtown San Jose. Take the San Carlos Street/Auzerais Avenue exit. Turn left on Woz Way. Turn right on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

17/880 Southbound (from Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, Fremont)

Take 17/880 South to the Coleman Avenue exit. Turn left on Coleman Avenue and continue on Coleman Avenue. Coleman Avenue becomes Market Street after Hwy 87. Turn right on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the left before Almaden Boulevard.

17 Northbound (from Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Campbell)

Take 17 North to Downtown San José/280 South exit. Take 280 South to the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit. Turn left on Almaden Boulevard. Turn right on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

Guadalupe Parkway 87 Southbound (from the San José International Airport, 101 Southbound)

Take Park Avenue/San Carlos Street exit, turn left. Turn right on Almaden Boulevard. Turn left on San Carlos Street. Convention Center front entrance will be on the right before Market Street.

Guadalupe Parkway 87 Northbound (from 85 Northbound)
