2005 U.S. Maccabiah Team Try Outs

The Maccabiah Games is basically an Olympic Style format wherein we bring a U.S. Team to wrestle in Israel. Sometimes referred to as the “Jewish Olympics,” these Games are held in Israel every four years, attracting the most outstanding Jewish athletes from around the world. As one of the largest elite competitions, the Maccabiah Games have grown to more than 6,000 athletes from over 50 countries, competing every four years. It is open to all wrestlers of the Jewish Faith. We have had some great wrestlers compete in the past including many NCAA All Americans.

The tryouts will be taking place (date not official) near the end of this coming October 23-24, 2004 in Cleveland, Ohio.

If you might be interested in trying out, please contact head coach Adam Kantor via e-mail at kantor@usna.edu.
