The Club Championship is a program designed to recognize individual clubs that compete in California USAW State Championships. The spirit of the Club Championship awards is to recognize individual clubs and athletes registered in that club and not the combining of clubs or the recruiting of athletes, certified coaches, and officials to win the award.
Club Championship rosters are included in the Club Packet mailed to all Chartered Clubs and new Clubs. If you do not receive one, request the form from Duane Morgan.
Here are the rules:
Must be a registered USAW Chartered Club postmarked 7 days prior to the tournament date.
Must submit a Club Roster postmarked seven days prior to the specific championship. No changes or deletions may be made after submission of the form.
Must have the following ratio of registered USWOA Mat Officials or Pairing Officials working the entire tournament.
Must have one Club Coach with a minimum of Copper level certification and current USAW registered coach.
One Team Award will be given to the 1st place team in each age group and style (Freestyle and Greco Roman):
Midget (9-10)
Novice (11-12)
Schoolboy (13-14)
Cadet (15-16)
